Before Real Estate

I have had family in the Bitterroot for most of the past century. Like many people I moved away after graduating from Darby High School. I spend two years going to the University of Montana in Missoula majoring in Political Science. At that point is when I was mobilized with the Army Reserve, which I had been in since I was 17, to Colorado Springs to serve in Fort Carson. At Fort Carson I worked to help soldiers that were not citizens obtain their citizenship. This was a very rewarding and fulfilling job that gave me the ability to overcome obstacles that seem impossible. I was then promoted to a Sergeant in the Fort Carson Casualty Office, where I better honed my skills to help people. I was assigned a special duty in the security office of NATO during the NATO Summit in Colorado Springs, CO. After being released from Fort Carson I joined a Special Operations unit called the 324th Psychological Operations Company. I spent time in the Republic of Korea as a Psychological Operations Advisor. In December of 2004 I was mobilized to Iraq to lead a Psychological Operations Team in the Province of Dyala.
